How do I schedule a cleaning?

Our scheduling process is as easy as a click or phone call away! We can provide you with an estimate over the phone or you can use our easy online scheduling, however, we highly recommend our new customers to take advantage of the free In-home estimate, together we will create a work order tailored to your specific requests.

Who will clean my home?

A team of two or three employees will be cleaning your home. While we try to send the same crew to your home at every visit, please be aware that we cannot guarantee this as unforeseen circumstances such as days off or illnesses may mean that we switch the team assigned to your home.

We know that you’re an individual with circumstances that are entirely unique to you. We help you identify what your needs are, and then we provide you with services that have been specially tailored just for you.

Do I provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

The choice is yours, do to cross-contamination some clients prefer to supply supplies and equipment but our only requirements are you the homeowner provide all floor supplies such as broom, mop and vacuum and also toilet bowl brushes. We do provide all cleaning supplies upon request. We use regular cleaning products or natural in which our natural cleaning products are Melaleuca.

How will our relationship work?

Communication is very important to us, we highly encourage you to leave us a note with your specifications, we welcome your feedback please give us a call or text we are here for you.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No, there are no contracts to sign. We are happy to earn your business each time we clean, however the more often you use us the lower the price, please review our Service Agreement which outlines our policy.

Do I have to be home when the cleaner comes?

You do not need to be home, although of course, you’re welcome to be. Many of our customers provide us with a key to their home. We keep your keys and access information extremely secure.

What if I have a pet?

Pets are not a problem. We do need to be notified if you own pets, and we like to know their names. We understand some pets are very active & overly friendly if you feel that your pet would hinder our cleaning we would appreciate it if you would put them in a safe place, we would gladly let them out once we are finished.

Can I cancel or reschedule a cleaning?

Yes, we’re here for you, not the other way around, right?! Therefore, if you need to cancel, reschedule or skip a cleaning, no worries..just give us a call 24 hours in advance of your scheduled start time. Please keep in mind our scheduling is done 24 hours in advance give us enough time to accommodate another customer so that our crews have a complete day of work.

WE DO CHARGE A $25 FEE FOR A “LOCKOUT” with no cancellation notice.

WE DO CHARGE A $25 FEE FOR CANCELLATIONS LESS THAN 24 HOURS.

WE CHARGE RETURN CHECK FEE OF $45.

How early or how late can I schedule a cleaning to start?

You can schedule your cleaning to start as early as 8am or as late as 2pm.

How do I pay for my cleaning?

Payment is due the day the service is performed. You may pay by check, cash, Visa, or MasterCard.

Many customers leave a check, payable to: Maids Of Macon, on their kitchen table or counter top secured in an envelope.

Should I tip my cleaner?

Tips for our cleaners are neither expected nor required. Leaving them a simple note letting them know how well they did will mean a lot to them. Our cleaners want to know that their work met or exceeded your expectations. However, if you do wish to leave a tip, please place it on the kitchen counter separated from check.

What is the hourly cleaning fee?

A “labor hour” is defined as (1) hour of labor performed by one (1) person.

Therefore a team of (2) working for (1) hour equals (2) labor hours, and will be

billed accordingly. We, however,  don’t charge on an hourly basis.
